| BizDevGuy Founder and President, Jim Haviland, was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and was raised, as all Clevelanders are, to be proud of his home town. After spending many years living in other cities and countries, circumstances resulted in his family moving to Cleveland in 1999.
Cleveland's local newspaper, The Plain Dealer, published a series of article decrying a "Quiet Crisis" that include a number of dire economic truths and predictions about the economic region around Cleveland. During his time in Cleveland, Mr. Haviland devoted himself to addressing the matter of Cleveland's economic redevelopment through a number of means, including a series of articles published in a local business journals and a campaign to begin a bold project referred to as Plan X from Cleveland.
Many of the articles presented here were written during this time.
